Definition: "That which is called Extraliminal is something located outside of liminal states, beyond all that they are and can encompass. Factual yet unlocatable. Undifferentiated and mutable. Pure becoming."

We are a Film Association (ESAL) established in 2007 by founding members Neal Alexander (Legal Representative) and Javier Álvarez Galeano (Creative Director). We are dedicated to the development, production, and post-production of film and corporate projects, emphasizing the possibilities offered by storytelling and imagery as mechanisms for eliciting emotions.

To date, we have produced 6 original fiction short films, 1 feature-length documentary for television, 6 short films as part of our pedagogical process TESMA (Workshops of Sensitive Experimentation in Audiovisual Media), dozens of short nature documentaries and social projects, as well as works for renowned brands in the public and private sectors. Additionally, we originated and produced the CineToro International Experimentation Festival for 8 years, an event dedicated to promoting and fostering experimentation in film, and led educational processes in the Valle del Cauca region. Currently, we are in the development phase of our first fiction feature film LA PLAGA.
